We are seeking a skilled and experienced Demolition Supervisor to join our team.
About the Role:
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a dedicated professional who can lead a team of trade and non-trade personnel to accomplish key deliverables in demolition projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, managing demolition projects ensuring all works are completed safely, understanding of demolition regulations, developing methodologies, supervising works to ensure all is completed to client and company specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare cost estimates for demolition projects and works.
* Manage demolition projects ensuring all works are completed safely.
* Understand and comply with relevant demolition regulations.
* Develop effective methodologies for project delivery.
* Supervise works to ensure all is completed to client and company specifications.
* Lead a team of trade and non-trade personnel to accomplish key deliverables.
* Liaise with clients and site-based personnel.
* Plan and schedule work and labour requirements.
* Monitor progress against the work schedule.
* Record and monitor team members' performance.
* Provide mentorship and address issues where necessary.
* Conduct visual inspections of work to ensure it meets required standards and client specifications (QA/QC).
* Evaluate adherence to statutory requirements and company HSEQ standards and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate experience as a Demolition Supervisor or Manager, relevant Demolition Certification and Experience, a strong commitment to health and safety, and excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
You should also possess a current Australian Drivers Licence, Construction White Card, and a National Police Check.
