About the opportunity

Murin Association is seeking an experienced administration officer to assist all of Murin's operational streams, including Airways, Barge and Freight transport, Homelands community development and Civil works. The role requires travel between our Marrara and East Arm location, depending on need.
The main responsibilities include:
* General office duties including data entry, word processing and management of supplies, consumables and equipment;
* Assisting with production and processing of receipting, invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, processing purchase orders, consignment notes, manifest data entry and ticketing;
* Providing quality customer service via phone and in person and monitoring generic email accounts and taking action as appropriate or escalating matters to management;
* High level reporting to adhere to Government Contractual requirements;
* Undertaking general administrative tasks for the senior management team including filing and data collection as required;
* Policy and procedure review and monitoring in accordance with business growth and demand;
About you
You will have minimum 3+ years administrative experience, outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, well developed cultural awareness and value diversity, attention to detail, excellent administrative and organisational skills and proficient knowledge of MS Office and office management software. A Certificate III in Accounts Administration, Business Management or Accounting and Bookkeeping is desired but not mandatory.

About us
Murin Association Inc is an Aboriginal controlled non-for-profit organisation that provides a range of services to the Wadeye community and broader Daly Region. These include flight charters, barge and road freight services and community development in homelands regions across the Territory.
The position is located at our Main Office in Marrara, though the successful applicant will be required to work at our other location in East Arm as needed. An ability to undertake remote travel may also be required.
