We store and market wheat, barley, canola, sorghum and specialty commodities, connecting over 10,000 growers with more than 1,000 end‑market customers across the food, beverage, edible oils and animal feed industries. About the role
Terminal Operators at the Fisherman Islands grain terminal are critical to ensuring that we deliver an efficient and safe service in exporting and importing grains and other commodities. This includes wheat, sorghum, pulses, stockfeed and other products.
Core responsibilities
- Rail and road receival
- Shipping
- Road outloading
- Plant hygiene
- Bunker storage operations
- Grain assessing
- Additional plant activities as required by training and experience
As a member of a multi‑skilled work environment you will be expected to take on other activities within the plant in accordance with training and experience. We provide you with the tools and training required to perform your job effectively and safely. About your experience
- Good communication, teamwork and customer service skills
- Capacity to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Willingness to undertake training to obtain fumigation licence and Department of Agriculture Approved Officer status

- Will receive licences and certificates such as forklift, front‑end loader, fumigation, confined spaces, and working at heights
