Key Accountabilities Project Delivery
Plan projects to meet the requirements, budgets and timelines of the client.
Deliver services to meet the requirements, budgets and timelines of the client.
Plan projects within the scope provided by BOYD, applying particular expertise in mining.
Contribute to project efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Contribute to quality of research and implementation of project plans.
Support project delivery to successful completion and to meet agreed budgets, timelines and milestones.
Provide input into accurate and timely project reporting.
Maintain effective working relationships with clients through consultation and by providing a high level of expert advice.
Business Development
Promote the company and its diverse range of expertise and resources through existing and developing networks.
Actively build client relationships to allow the recognition of BOYD’s capabilities and to create business opportunities.
Identify prospective projects and facilitate BOYD’s opportunities to pitch for and secure the work.
Experience and Knowledge Education / Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering or Civil Engineering are mandatory.
Complementary business qualifications would be well regarded.
Between 10 to 20 years’ experience with technical/operational expertise in underground coal and/or hard rock mining.
Experience in business development and managing client relationships would be well regarded.
Experience in and knowledge of mine planning and scheduling packages such as VULCAN or XPAC is essential.
