Job Title: Project Support Officer
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our team as an APS 6 Project Support Officer.
* This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting the Australian Defence Force Life Course Study (ADFLCS) and Directorate of Health Research team.

About the Role
The APS 6 Project Support Officer will be responsible for assisting in the initial establishment and ongoing coordination of the ADFLCS.
* Key responsibilities include providing project support expertise through the development and management of various projects, including progress reporting, risk assessment and management, and financial management.
* Additionally, the successful candidate will oversee secretariat functions for numerous advisory committees, liaise with stakeholders, and facilitate cross-agency or multi-agency planning of project delivery.
* They will also develop high-level briefings, minutes, and project communications as required.

Requirements
* To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Highly developed project support skills, including experience with project governance functions.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated capacity to engage positively with a broad range of stakeholders.
* Demonstrated people management and supervision skills.
* Passion for fostering evidence-based policy, programs, and practice.
* Tertiary qualifications in a health-related discipline will be highly regarded.
