Electrical Design Estimator
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Estimator to join our team. As an estimator, you will work in an established division and play a strong role in preparing tenders and bids for projects of all sizes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyse drawings, plans, and documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labour estimates.
* Design switchboards based on client specifications, adhering to AS/NZS 61439.2: 2016 standards.
* Create standard switchboard drawings using AutoCAD and other design tools.
* Compile and submit tenders accurately and in alignment with customer and company requirements.
* Produce technical documentation such as construction drawings, material take-offs, product data sheets, and other essential documents.
* Offer exceptional customer support and work closely with the sales team to achieve successful project outcomes.
Requirements:
* Certifications in Electrical Design are a must.
* A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
* Self-motivated and able to work autonomously while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and proficient in using design tools.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, with a strong background in electrical design and tendering.
