The Role Joining a small and close-knit Finance team of 5, this role will provide you with the opportunity to work closely with the Financial Controller who will be a great mentor to further develop your skillset. You will perform a hands-on role as an integral part of the finance team. The role requires strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines. Primary duties will comprise of: Assist with Month/year end reporting Ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures, and reporting timelines Cash Flows P/L G/L recs Payroll Processing Fixed assets FBT BAS Bank Recs Budgeting/Forecasting Other ad hoc tasks – as required by the FC About You Solutions focused and with strong analytical skills, you will have experience working in a similar role as an Assistant Accountant from a small, medium business with 2-3 years’ experience. The successful candidate will need to have Accounting/Finance Degree as a minimum and could be part CPA/CA qualified coming from a range of industries. Candidate who have had exposure in a Manufacturing stock/inventory environment will be highly regarded. The successful candidate MUST have Intermediate excel skills, ie vlook ups and pivot tables.
