A Mechanical Engineering Graduate role is available, focusing on real-world engineering challenges and contributing to the performance, reliability, and improvement of large-scale mechanical systems and maintenance operations.
This position offers a unique opportunity for hands-on experience, working alongside site engineers, maintenance managers, and trades teams. You will assist with root cause investigations, develop maintenance strategies, and support projects to improve equipment performance.
To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably focused on maintenance or reliability. Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office, are essential. Additionally, a valid driver's license (site travel required) and a proactive mindset with strong communication skills are necessary.
You will receive structured onboarding and training across systems and safety protocols, as well as access to external online training and short courses based on project needs. Ongoing coaching from senior engineers and mentors will also be provided.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with root cause investigations and reliability-focused problem solving
* Help develop maintenance strategies and procedures
* Support and deliver SIB projects to improve equipment performance
* Work alongside site engineers, maintenance managers, and trades teams
* Contribute to operational support across multiple sites
What We're Looking For:
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably focused on maintenance or reliability
* Solid understanding of mechanical systems and engineering principles
* Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office
* A valid driver's licence (site travel required)
* A proactive, inquisitive mindset with strong communication skills
* Confidence engaging with a variety of stakeholders across teams
