Senior associate, national financial statement compilation centre of excellence

Our National Financial Statement Compilation Centre of Excellence is continuing to grow and we are seeking a Senior Associate to join the team.

• Preparing and reviewing financial statements for a range of entities including large private, not-for-profit and government bodies.
• Preparing financial statements using Accurri.
• Applying accounting standards and drafting of financial statement disclosures.
• Liaising directly with clients and Grant Thornton audit teams to obtain information and resolve disclosure matters.
• Working to deliver accurate, consistent and quality outcomes.
• Supporting and reviewing work prepared by junior team members.

• A degree in Accounting or Finance and progress toward or completion of CA qualification.
• Experience in preparing or auditing financial statements and applying accounting standards.
• Understanding of financial reporting disclosure requirements.
• Experience using Accurri or similar financial reporting tools, or willingness to learn.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Confidence working autonomously and collaborating with stakeholders.
