Infrastructure Project Manager
This is a dynamic role in the south-west region of Western Australia, renowned for its world-class wineries and stunning coastal beaches.
* Project managers are responsible for planning and resource allocation to meet client requirements and budget constraints.
* They oversee cost management from tender to delivery, including budgets, forecasting, and tracking progress.
* Contract compliance, variations, claims, and monthly financial reporting are also part of their duties.
* Managers ensure high technical standards by overseeing quality requirements and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
* Engineering activities are coordinated to implement SWMS, special processes, and mitigation strategies.
* Developing and awarding subcontract packages with accurate scoping, sound commercial conditions, and best-value outcomes is another crucial aspect of the job.
* Project managers analyze and maintain programs to track progress and implement mitigation where needed.
* Ensuring EBA compliance and fostering a strong safety culture are also key responsibilities.
Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).
* 2+ years of experience delivering civil infrastructure projects up to $20m for civil contractors.
* Strong commercial, forecasting, and cost control skills are essential.
* The ability to maintain positive client relationships and meet contractual obligations is critical.
* A proactive problem-solving approach with the ability to spot and address issues early is required.
* Knowledge of MRWA specifications is desirable.
* Flexibility to travel on a roster basis depending on project location is also necessary.
