This will see you work with new technology and use your innovative thinking to deliver solutions and contribute to the overall success of the business.The consulting engineer is responsible for contributing to the successful delivery, profitability and strategic growth of our technical services through alignment with the company’s values, technical excellence and supporting business development.The primary aspects of the role include:Civil infrastructure and building condition assessmentsSite inspection, testing and analysisMaterials durability assessments and planningRemediation specificationsCorrosion management and cathodic protection designAsset maintenance strategiesWorking with our Spatial team to deliver 3D reality asset models for digital delivery of condition assessments and defect managementPrototype and trial innovative technology solutions to help deliver value to our company and clientsHelp to lead the digitisation of the business workflow by adopting and utilising new softwareProject ManagementProposal writing and business developmentClient relationship managementThere will be a requirement for typically short-term travel to sites to fulfill project requirements.ABOUT YOUYou have relevant experience in a similar role within the building and construction industry with specific experience in concrete/steel structures. Inspection/asset management experience will strengthen your application.You can build positive relationships with clients and understand their needs and expectations.Naturally you are proactive and can assesses situations to recognise missing information and identify potential problems and suggest solutions.Minimum QualificationsRelevant tertiary qualification in Civil / Structural or Materials Engineering, or related field;Relevant experience enabling you to have developed a range of relative knowledge and skills;THE BENEFITSWe offer support to every individual to attain their best potential with ongoing opportunity to develop individual capability.
