Contract Senior Solutions Architect
Location: Northampton (with occasional office visits). 4‐month contract, possible extension – Outside IR35.
Core Responsibilities
* Translate business needs into technical solutions (working with BAs/PMO).
* Produce clear design documentation and present through governance forums.
* Evaluate existing tools and introduce new technologies where needed.
* Lead supplier assessment, system design, and integration.
* Act as a key member of the Technical Design Authority and Change Advisory Board.
Environment
* Microsoft‐led stack (Azure, Office 365, SharePoint, Teams).
* Core banking platform on Oracle.
* Multiple new initiatives at early stages, focus on shaping projects from the outset.
Qualifications
10+ years as a Solutions Architect.
Strong cloud and integration experience (Azure preferred).
Worked within a Banking environment.
Confident working within governance frameworks (e.g. TOGAF).
