About the Role
As a vital link between vulnerable clients and support services, this role requires flexibility and a caring nature. The Mobile Responder works 24/7, responding to alarm calls from clients who press buttons on their alarm units. The nearest Community Responder is contacted to assess the situation and provide assistance or call emergency services if needed.
The day-to-day responsibilities include:
* Responding immediately to alarm calls and assessing care needs
* Dealing with referrals and installing alarm equipment at client premises
* Undertaking 'last resort' personal care when necessary
* Assisting in promoting the service in local communities
A responsible and empathetic individual with a full UK driving license is required. Full training will be provided, making experience unnecessary.
