Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to support our Field Operations as an experienced Health Safety and Environment Advisor.
We are seeking a motivated individual with:
* A Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety or Diploma in Health and Safety Management
* At least 3 years' experience in a Health Safety and Environment role or equivalent knowledge of Risk Management practices and incident investigation techniques in the oil and gas industry
* ICAM / Taproot certification (desirable)
* Knowledge of behaviour-based programs, e.g. Step 7 / Assist and Assure
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Audit experience in the preparation and execution of audits
* Understanding and working knowledge of ISO 9001/45001/14001 standards
Main Responsibilities
You will work under the direction of the HSE Manager and HSE Leads, undertaking:
* Conducting and participating in audits as per the Audit and Inspection Schedule
* Providing coaching and guidance on the Savanna Assist and Assure program, including facilitating Rose Plot audits
* Providing investigation facilitation expertise for incidents across the business
* Providing risk management coaching to support sound decision-making at the shift supervision level
* Assisting with HSE initiatives across multiple rigs or assigned to a drilling rig for onsite support
