* Build relationships and develop a database for Social Procurement organisations and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses in each region and nationally.
* Engage local First Nation recruitment businesses who have connections to the local communities to Seymour Whyte projects and to other local areas as required.
* Assist projects with delivering the Cultural Heritage Management Plans and manage engagement with the Heritage Advisor and the Traditional Owner groups.
* Assist with Social Procurement targets across Australia by identifying and engaging with Social Inclusion and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses to participate in tenders.
* Create meaningful connections between the Traditional Owner groups, other Social Inclusion organisations and Seymour Whyte projects, and act as the conduit fostering a harmonious relationship which drives genuine sustainable social outcomes.
* Ensure the delivery of Cultural Awareness Training and activities that appropriately celebrate National Reconciliation Week (NRW) and NAIDOC Week with the purpose of building respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and histories including raising awareness and sharing information amongst our staff.
* Increase understanding, value and recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories, knowledge and rights through cultural learning initiatives for the workforce.
* Champion a mentoring program and network for Social Inclusion employees, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees.
