About the Role
We seek a skilled Communication Manager to join our Australian team. This key role is part of the Stakeholder Relations team, responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that support government relations, media, public affairs, marketing, and internal communications.
This position will be central to strengthening external relationships, engaging with key government and community stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with global communication efforts as our pipeline of Australian projects continues to grow.
Responsibilities
* Government Relations
o Raise the profile of acrworld and its projects with Federal and State governments.
o Provide strategic advice to align tender submissions with government objectives.
o Represent acrworld in meetings and industry networks with policymakers and stakeholders.
o Track and respond to regulatory and political developments that impact project delivery and approvals.
* Communications Strategy
o Lead the creation and delivery of communication plans across all channels.
o Manage acrworld's Australian social media accounts and digital presence.
o Develop communication materials for stakeholder engagement, internal use, and external meetings.
o Ensure Australian communications align with global strategy, tools, and brand guidelines.
* Internal Communications
o Own and manage internal communication initiatives, including team meetings and workshops.
* Stakeholder Engagement Support
o Contribute to broader stakeholder relations, including:
+ Community and First Nations engagement
+ Stakeholder engagement planning and delivery
+ Sustainability tracking and reporting
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in communication management, public affairs, regulatory or political affairs.
* A relevant tertiary qualification in political science, communications, or a related discipline.
* A solid understanding of the energy industry (oil, gas, or renewables).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities.
