Business Development Representative
This role is responsible for primarily serving the Goldfields area. You will be required to visit our Kalgoorlie branch once a month and grow our market share in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Growing and developing new accounts in the underground market space
* Building rapport with all mining houses and mining contractors at senior levels
* Prospecting for new business in new and existing accounts
* Educating clients on Boart Longyear products and services
* Territory planning, reporting and pipeline management
* Driving sales growth and achieving sales revenue and profit targets in given market segments
* Identifying customer needs and providing an appropriate solution that best meets that need
* Developing solid relationships and rapport with customers and internal stakeholders based on trust and mutual respect
* Ddelivering exceptional customer service
* Helping identify and address customer issues by connecting them with the right resources
* Monthly visits operating out of the Kalgoorlie Branch
Requirements:
* Specific understanding, training or qualifications in the use of percussive drilling equipment and rock tools services - essential
* Strong underground network & experience in the Rock Tools space - essential
* Experience working in the Underground mining space, operations or drilling
* Minimum 5 years' experience in Business Development and/or sales, preferably in a similar industry
* Sales or general business management training
* Skills and networks to be able to present to mining boards or senior management groups
* Good understanding of solution selling
* Proficient in MS Office suite
* Ability to work well within a team
* Ability to report and document on company CRM
* A current driver's licence
