About the Role
You'll be employed by the gentleman's parents, and provide individualised support in his home, and out in the community. You will be required to:
Provide respectful, patient support, with dignity.
Assist with personal care and medication.
Support him to do the activities he enjoys and explore new opportunities.
Help with household tasks, cooking, appointments and grocery shopping.
Respect his choice and control in his own home and community.
Support him to live a life full of the things he values, including family and social connections and going for coffee.
Hours of Work
There are flexible opportunities within the team, including 24–48 hours per week, as well as shorter days and evenings/overnights.
Requirements:
NDIS Worker screening check (or willingness to obtain one)
First aid certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
Completion of the 'Quality, Safety and You' NDIS Worker Orientation Module
