Spray Seal Supervisor

The Role:
Roadworx is seeking an experienced Spray Seal Supervisor to join its Spray Seal business based at Unanderra and Mittagong. If successful, you will be responsible for an established crew, and for the safe and timely delivery of Spray Seal works. You will work with an experienced crew to deliver works for local councils and civil contractors. You will work with the Spray Seal Engineer/Spray Seal Operations Manager to plan and deliver works. A strong team player attitude is essential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Skills:
· Current Driver Licence. HR Licence
· White card.
· Dangerous Goods Endorsement.
· Experience leading a Spray Seal and Asphalt crew.
· Knowledge of Spray Seal plant and Materials.
· You will be physically fit.
· You will have the ability to work on own initiative and be able to work without supervision as well as within a team.
· Detail orientated.
· Good communication skills.
· Two references from a previous employer.
Optional Skills:
· HC Licence
· VOCs in Plant Operation.
· Certificate in Construction related field (Preferably Asphalt or Spray Seal).
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 5 years directly related experience required in the Spray Seal industry,
· Minimum 2 years working in supervisory roles within the construction industry.
Physical Environment:
· Frequent ability to lift or move up to 20kg throughout a shift and spend prolonged periods on your feet.
· Frequent ability to sit, climb, reach, and bend throughout a shift.
· Ability to pass a physical on annual basis, including a drug screen.
· Ability to work in outdoor construction environments, with moderate noise levels.
