About The Role 
We have an exciting prospect for an Agriculture Teacher to become a valuable addition to our remarkable team at James Sheahan Catholic High School in Orange NSW. The teacher in a Secondary Catholic School is someone who can collaboratively develop and implement quality curriculum programs relevant to the Agricultural Education curriculum while creating a nurturing and order learning environment for their students. 
Education 
We are seeking a Teacher who understands and commits to supporting the mission and ethos of Catholic education within the school by: 
- Creating a learner-centred, supportive, and cooperative learning environment aligned with curriculum policies. 
- Developing and implementing quality curriculum programs using effective teaching methods; assess and report student progress. 
- Using inclusive teaching strategies and adapt practices for equitable education. 
- Analysing student assessment data to identify learning barriers and encourage improvement. 
- Engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance student outcomes. 
- Collaborating with school leadership, staff, and contribute to school life. 
- Providing student supervision and assist in organising extracurricular activities

About You (selection Criteria) 
- A commitment to Catholic education and a clear understanding of the ethos of Catholic Schools 
- Ability to integrate technology effectively to maximise student outcomes and engagement 
- Ability to work and teach as part of a professional learning team 
- Demonstrated ability to promote a culture of effort, engagement and excellence through the development of a positive, supportive student environment and related structures 
- Qualifications to teach Agriculture and Science courses, and qualifications or willingness to obtain qualifications in VET Primary Industries 
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to build positive relationships and promote positive education
