Adecco is partnering with a leading manufacturing company to hire aMechanical Project Managerto lead their Mechanical Engineering team.
This team focuses on specialized electromechanical equipment, including starters and generators.

As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will oversee mechanical design and development, lead critical projects, provide technical direction, and collaborate with multiple departments to support new product development, research efforts, and proposal activities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead project execution and communicate progress and risks to senior leadership
Ensure designs meet safety, quality, and manufacturability standards
Manage multiple product lines across various mechanical disciplines
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, software, testing, supply chain, and quality
Handle team resource planning, recruitment, training, and development
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support market success
Identify technology gaps and develop innovation roadmaps
Promote a strong safety culture and adherence to best practices
Travel may be required domestically and internationally (approx. quarterly)
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Approximately 10 years of experience in product design and manufacturing
At least 2 years managing engineering teams
Strong leadership, communication, and technical problem-solving skills
Proficient in GD&T and core mechanical engineering principles
Preferred
Experience with electromechanical or rotating machinery
Advanced degrees (MSME, MBA)
Familiarity with aerospace or industrial engineering standards
Team & Budget
Manage a team of ~10 engineers
Oversee team budgets and conduct performance evaluations
Office-based with standard equipment use
May involve extended sitting and occasional lifting under 20 lbs
