For this role, you will need:
* NV2 OR TSPV Clearance
A Federal Government agency is seeking multiple APS6 equivalent Infrastructure Engineers / System Administrators to support and manage critical infrastructure services across the organization
The role involves implementing, managing, maintaining, and retiring infrastructure platforms that support digital services. Successful candidates will be allocated to business areas based on operational requirements and must complete an Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA) prior to commencement.
Responsibilities:
· Investigate, diagnose, and resolve network and infrastructure issues
· Provide advice on preventative strategies to improve system stability and performance
· Manage support requests in accordance with government standards, policies, and procedures
· Design and implement network changes and maintenance routines
· Apply knowledge of industry-standard data, voice, and audio networking technologies
· Build and maintain effective working relationships and actively contribute to team activities
· Interpret and comply with security policies and contribute to standards and guidelines
· Take initiative to identify alternative solutions when resolving complex infrastructure issues
Skills and Experience Required:
· Diploma or Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field
· Experience with infrastructure management tools to monitor system performance and load
· Experience creating or configuring automation scripting
· Strong understanding of system availability, reliability, maintainability, and serviceability
· Proven experience investigating and resolving complex infrastructure issues
· Experience installing and de-installing complex systems or system components
· Proficiency in network automation
· High-level knowledge of networking protocols, architectures, devices, and topologies
