Due to continued growth, we are seeking some experienced Die Cutter Operators to join their production team.
The Role
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for operating flatbed die cutting equipment to produce high-quality cartonboard packaging in line with production schedules and quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
* Set up and operate flatbed die cutters (ideally Bobst 106)
* Perform make-readies and machine adjustments to ensure optimal performance
* Operate autostripping units efficiently
* Monitor quality, alignment, and cutting accuracy
* Work with cartonboard materials to meet customer specifications
* Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting
* Maintain a strong focus on WHS and safe operating procedures
* Complete production documentation and reporting
Available shifts:
* 6:00am – 2:00pm
* 2:00pm – 10:00pm
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
* 2–3 years' experience operating flatbed die cutting machinery
* Experience operating a Bobst 106 (or similar flatbed die cutter)
* Experience working with cartonboard materials
* Experience with autostripping processes
* Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
* High attention to detail and quality focus
* Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
* Commitment to workplace health and safety
