The Role – Showroom Sales & Quotes Assistant
We’re on the hunt for a full-time Showroom Sales & Quotes Assistant to join the team at our flagship Mareeba retail store. This is more than just a sales role; you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer experiences, driving sales in our showroom, and playing a key part in a friendly and high-performing team.
We are looking for someone eager to learn and grow their knowledge in plumbing. No expertise needed, just a strong passion to learn on the job in our interactive, bathroom and kitchen showroom while you build your skills and grow your career.
Responsibilities
- Putting together competitive product quotes for customers
- Assisting clients with finding the right solutions from our wide range of products
- Demonstrating product features to help customers make confident purchases
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintaining an appealing, well-organised, and inviting showroom
- Participate in regular product and sales training
- Collaborate with your team to meet and exceed sales targets
Who We’re Looking For
- At least 1–2 years’ experience in retail or customer service
- Enthusiasm and a passion for providing excellent customer service
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently
- Knowledge of bathroom or hardware fittings is a bonus, but not essential
- Basic computer skills; SAP experience is a plus
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including participation in the 1 in 3 Saturday morning roster
- Australian work rights are required for this position
