We are seeking an experienced Remote Area Nurse (RAN) to join a well-supported health service in the Northern Territory, delivering essential primary and acute healthcare to remote communities.

About the Role
As a Remote Area Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive, culturally appropriate healthcare across a broad scope of practice, often as the primary clinician on site.
Duties include:
* Emergency and acute care presentations
* Primary health care and chronic disease management
* Triage and autonomous clinical decision-making
* Medication administration and immunisations
* Health education and community engagement
* Working collaboratively with Aboriginal Health Practitioners and visiting clinicians
Essential Requirements
To be considered, you must hold all qualifications required for Remote Area Nursing, including:
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience, including emergency/acute care
* Remote Emergency Care (REC) or equivalent
* Advanced Life Support (ALS)
* MEC (Minimum Emergency Care)
* Immunisation accreditation
* Pharmacotherapeutics endorsement (or eligibility)
* NT Working With Children Clearance (Ochre Card) or willingness to obtain
* National Police Check
* Current Manual Driver's Licence
* Previous remote or rural experience highly regarded
