Housing Officer Role Overview
As a key professional in the delivery of affordable housing solutions, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable individuals and families. Your responsibilities will include:
* Conducting thorough property inspections and allocations of vacant properties to ensure efficient use of resources.
* Managing rental collection and chasing arrears through effective communication and negotiation skills.
* Preparing and coordinating lease and rent reviews, as well as conducting condition reports to maintain accurate records.
* Coordinating exit procedures and administrative tasks to ensure seamless transitions.
You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including government departments, clients, and support agencies. A satisfactory police check is required for all staff, and those with client-related responsibilities must provide relevant certifications.
