Commercial Diver / Marine Construction Diver (ADAS Part 2)
Hunter Diving & Marine Construction (HDMC) is a Tasmanian-based marine contractor specialising in jetty construction, pile installation, inspections, and underwater maintenance works across the state.
We are seeking a qualified ADAS Part 2 (or equivalent) Commercial Diver to join our team on a full-time basis.
This is not an offshore roster job and not FIFO. Our work is local, varied, and practical. You will go home most days knowing exactly what you achieved and still have your evenings and weekends.
You will be working within a small, experienced dive team carrying out a wide range of marine construction and inspection works. Our projects include jetties, pontoons, slipways, moorings and structural inspections for councils, marinas and government agencies.
Typical duties include:
* Construction and repair of timber and steel marine structures
* Pile installation and underwater concreting
* Inspection diving and reporting
* Ship inspection and repairs
* Working from barges, work punts and small vessels
* Assisting with general marine construction tasks above and below water
This is a hands-on role — our divers are part of the build crew, not just in the water for short dives.
