Job Description:
We are seeking a diligent and skilled individual to fill the role of Heavy Equipment Operator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing general labouring duties across various civil and industrial projects. This includes operating heavy plant and equipment, assisting tradespeople and site supervisors, and maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
* Operate heavy machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal productivity.
* Assist tradespeople with tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials, tools, and equipment.
* Collaborate with site supervisors to ensure smooth project execution, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
* Participate in daily pre-start checks, basic paperwork, and follow site procedures to maintain a high level of efficiency and accuracy.
* Support project teams to ensure effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
