Manager - RTO
Salary: $110,000 to $115,000 + super
Work type: 0.8 FTE or Full-time
Contract: Fixed-term to Jan 2027 (flexible to finish Dec 2026)

Our client is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) specialising in community and social services. We are seeking an experienced RTO Manager to lead the Institute through a defined transition and teach-out period, ensuring strong compliance, quality delivery and clear leadership during this phase.
This is a hands‐on operational leadership role, ideal for someone with deep RTO compliance experience who enjoys bringing structure, clarity and confidence to complex environments.
About the role
Reporting to the Executive Director, you will:
* Lead the teach‐out of selected qualifications and skill sets, including Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work
* Ensure full compliance with the Standards for RTOs, including audit readiness and regulatory reporting
* Oversee a third‐party training arrangement delivering accredited training in schools
* Manage student progress, assessment completion, certification and record‐keeping
* Provide strong leadership and support to trainers, assessors and administrative staff during transition
* Prepare reports and updates for executive stakeholders
About you
You will bring:
* Extensive experience working within an RTO environment, including audits and compliance
* TAE40116 / TAE40122 (or successor)
* Proven experience managing third‐party arrangements
* Strong people leadership and change management capability
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* A practical, solutions‐focused approach during periods of change
Desirable
* Experience using aXcelerate
* Certificate IV in Mental Health (Peer Work)
