Take a chance and make achange.This role will be servicing Port Augusta or Whyalla, locationwill be negotiatedAs a Senior Psychologist, you will:Provide professional supervision, mentorship, and guidanceto psychologists and provisional psychologists.Lead the implementation of flexible service deliverymodels, including telepractice, fly-in-fly-out (FIFO), andexternal provider programs.Contribute to the monitoring of statewide service demandsand assist in the triaging and allocation of psychologicalresources, ensuring timely and appropriate support throughinternal services and external providers.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, schoolcommunities, families, and key stakeholders to develop holisticand effective strategies.Contribute to the recruitment, retention, induction, andprofessional development of psychologists, ensuring adherenceto professional and service delivery standards.Champion culturally responsive practices, valuing andprioritising Aboriginal ways of knowing, doing, and being.Participate in the implementation of a service modelsupporting integrated and targeted services for children andyoung people with additional needs.Qualifications:Essential: Current and full registration(general) with the Psychology Board of Australia.Psychology Board of Australia approved supervisor.Desirable: Area of practice endorsement –educational and developmental psychology and/or clinical psychologyand/or counselling psychology.Special conditions:The successful applicant is required to gain a Department forHuman Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior tobeing employed which is required to be renewed every five yearsbefore expiry.
