BestBuild Fitout & Construction – Diggers Rest VIC
BestBuild Fitout & Construction is seeking a driven and organised Project Co-Ordinator to join our growing team in Diggers Rest, Victoria.
This full-time role is responsible for supporting the successful delivery of diverse construction projects to our valued clients.
As a key member of the project management team, you will play a critical coordinating and administrative function to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
What you'll be doing
Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to schedule and coordinate all project activities
Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and communicate status updates to stakeholders
Assist with the preparation of project plans, schedules, and budgets
Maintain detailed project documentation and records
Support the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental regulations
Provide general administrative support to the project management team as required
What we're looking for
At least 3 years' experience in a similar construction project coordination role
Requires a Cert 3 in Carpentry with at least 5 years' experience as a commercial carpenter
Has worked on fitout projects which include light gauge steel framing, cement sheet cladding, plasterboard walls and ceilings, installing doors and frames
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and the internal team
Proficient in using project management software and MS Office applications
Knowledge of construction methodologies, contract administration, and budget management
A collaborative approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
Relevant qualifications in construction, project management, or a related field would be highly regarded
