Overview
Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will be to carry out preventative, continuous improvement and breakdown maintenance, across a quick-paced production facility, working 12hr shifts over a 7-day fortnight.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out Preventative Maintenance programs for the processing, packaging, cooling & heating systems
- Contribute to the preventative maintenance system development.
- Responding to breakdowns in a timely manner to minimise downtime.
- Performing scheduled and ad-hoc safety checks as per instructions;
- Investigating failures and making recommendations to reduce risk and improve systems/processes;
- General maintenance within a factory environment, filling machines, packaging equipment, boilers, blow moulding machines, refrigeration systems and Building/facilities.
- Actively be involved in safety and continuous improvement activities
Qualifications
- Trade Qualification in either Electrical or Mechanical
- South Australian A Class Electrical Licence or equivalent essential for Electrician role
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Previous Dairy or Beverage experience highly regarded
