About the Role:
The Global Demand Planner will be responsible for managing the demand planning process, partnering with commercial and marketing organizations to ensure accurate transmission of demand requirements to supply planning.
Key duties include developing collaborative relationships with stakeholders, managing market demand plans, running and evolving S&OP processes, and owning forecasting tools.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in demand planning, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently on complex issues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop highly collaborative relationships with commercial and marketing teams to ensure accurate transmission of demand requirements.
* Manage market demand plans over the planning horizon, identifying trends, event scenarios, and corrective actions.
* Run and evolve S&OP processes, ensuring scope performance metrics are met.
* Own forecasting tools, including data inputs per update cycles.
* Act as primary supply chain point of contact for markets within defined scope.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* Proven background in demand planning or S&OP leadership level at a market or regional level.
* SAP and IBP modules experience preferred, particularly in transactions and reports.
* Global experience in healthcare (medical device or pharma) preferred.
* Expertise in Microsoft Excel essential.
* Critical thinking skills, process orientation, self-initiation, strong analytical skills, and business acumen required.
* Good communication and collaboration skills, with ability to partner and influence others without direct authority.
