Six Degrees Albany, a vibrant multi-service hospitality venue combining bar, restaurant and accommodation, is seeking a motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily restaurant and bar operations. This full-time role will ensure a smooth service delivery, strong customer satisfaction, team leadership performance. For the right candidate, a sponsorship under a 407 Training Visa will be available, offering a pathway for international applicants to develop skills and grow within the Australian Hospitality Industry.
Job summary:
 * Flexible hours available
 * Expected salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
 * Oversee day-to-day restaurant and bar operations.
 * Ensure compliance with licensing, health, safety and food hygiene regulations.
 * Deliver and maintain high service standards for all guests.
 * Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints professionally.
 * Promote customer loyalty through positive dining experiences.
 * Lead, train and mentor FOH staff to uphold service and presentation standards.
 * Conduct staff inductions and work closely with the HR Manager for ongoing performance reviews.
 * Create a positive, professional and motivated workplace culture.
 * Work closely with the Procurement team for overseeing stock control and ordering.
 * Support venue marketing initiatives, events, and promotional campaigns.
 * Work closely with the Head Chef, Procurement and Operations Teams for menus, specials and service flow.
 * Assist with group events, functions and community engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
 * Minimum 2-3 years proven experience as a Restaurant Manager in a Hospitality setting.
 * Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
 * Approved Manager Card and a Valid RSA is a must
 * Understanding of inventory management.
 * Knowledge of compliance with liquor licensing, food safety and OH&S.
 * Passion for customer service and team development.
 * Formal qualifications in hospitality management is desirable but not essential.
 * Must be available to work on a flexible roster including weekends and evenings.
