About the role
Kadota', a renowned restaurant located in the picturesque town of Daylesford, Victoria, is seeking talented Chefs and Chef Apprentices to join our passionate culinary team. As a full-time role, you will play a vital part in crafting and delivering our exceptional dining experiences to our discerning customers.
What you'll be doing
Preparing and cooking a variety of high-quality dishes using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients
Assisting with menu development and implementation of new recipes
Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment
Adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards
Providing exceptional customer service and contributing to a positive team culture
What we're looking for
Formal culinary training or previous experience as a Chef or Chef Apprentice in a similar fine dining or high-quality restaurant environment
Entry level/graduate candidates are welcome to apply for this position
Either formal culinary qualification or relevant experience is acceptable, with requirements varying based on your experience level
Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation and flavour profiles
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative kitchen environment
Excellent time management, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
Passion for using locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients to create exceptional dining experiences
Commitment to upholding high food safety and hygiene standards
