Key Responsibilities
As the Services Manager, you will oversee the coordination of catering and utilities services, ensuring smooth operations in food provision, cleaning, waste management, and equipment maintenance. You'll manage and mentor a dedicated team, ensuring their performance aligns with best practice standards and workplace safety.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading a team of employees, focusing on performance, development, and conflict resolution
* Overseeing food safety compliance, ensuring all meals meet dietary needs and hygiene standards
* Managing staff rosters and ensuring appropriate skill mix
* Ensuring the safe and effective management of stores, supplies, and equipment
* Reporting and maintaining compliance with accreditation bodies and health governance standards
* Driving continuous improvement in quality standards and safety procedures.

* Trade qualifications or trade equivalent skills as a Cook
* Proven leadership skills and experience in managing a team
* Strong communication skills with the ability to interact across all levels
* Expertise in food safety legislation and industry standards
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
