SPS Corporation is one of Australia's largest suppliers to the picture framing, and the RV industries.
We are currently seeking an experienced payroll officer / bookkeeper to join our busy team.
This is a great role if you are looking for a part time position within a company that is growing, and going from strength to strength.
This position is suited to an individual who has previously worked within a medium sized company, looking for part time hours and enjoys working within an office environment.
Responsibilities Include:
Payroll:
Manage weekly payroll for approximately 120 staff, using Employment Hero,
Follow up with Managers to ensure all timesheets are approved and leave requests have been actioned,
Manage Superannuation payments,
Lodge monthly Payroll Tax,
Ensure all STP and ATO requirements are met,
Calculate and post all accruals for Annual Leave and Long Service Leave provisions,
Upload payroll information into MS Dynamics 365,
Reconcile all payroll clearing accounts,
Manage payments of Workers Compensation premiums and lodge yearly reconciliation.
Assist with Balance Sheet account reconciliations,
Bank account reconciliations,
Assist with the posting of credit card transactions,
Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable as required,
Any other appropriate duties as requested.
To be Successful you will need:
A minimum of 5 years' experience in a relevant payroll / bookkeeper role
Exceptional relationship building and communication skills
Time management and ability to prioritize / multitask is essential
High level of attention to detail
The ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
Experience with Employment Hero would be considered an advantage
