Job Overview:
This role is a key position in supporting the Two-way Science Initiative, an innovative approach to teaching and learning that integrates the Western Australian Science Curriculum with Aboriginal knowledges.
The successful applicant will lead the ongoing development and implementation of the Department's Two-way Science Initiative, collaborating closely with curriculum team members and local and regional Aboriginal organisations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Designing and delivering school-based Two-way Science programs in collaboration with Ranger Groups, community groups, and school curriculum teams.
* Identifying and addressing challenges in the initiative's delivery, providing expert advice and guidance, and overseeing risk management to ensure safe and effective implementation.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Kimberley Aboriginal communities and the ability to build effective working relationships with Aboriginal school communities and other key stakeholders.

Working Arrangements:
This is a fixed term, full-time position commencing ASAP and ending 31 December 2026. The position is attached to the Kimberley Education Regional Office in Broome (6725). Flexibility in the workplace location of the successful applicant may be negotiated with the Regional Executive Director.
