Key Responsibilities:
* Test Planning:
* Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans in collaboration with Test Managers, ensuring alignment between project requirements and testing efforts.
* Functional & Integration Testing:
* Develop and execute test cases that cover functional, API, and integration testing scenarios. This may include non-functional testing scenarios such as performance, accessibility/UX, and security. Create positive, negative, and edge case scenarios to ensure complete test coverage, and document the results.
* Test Data Management:
* Create and maintain effective test data and scripts required for executing the test case scenarios.
* Collaboration & Communication:
* Work closely with development, software engineering teams, test analysts, and business teams to optimize test coverage, improve testing processes, and drive early defect identification throughout the SDLC.
* Reporting & Analysis:
* Analyze test results and provide regular status reports on test execution. Support Test Completion Reporting in collaboration with Test Managers.
* Defect Management:
* Identify, track, and manage defects throughout their lifecycle, from initial triage through to resolution.
* Troubleshooting:
* Troubleshoot and diagnose risks/issues identified during testing, collaborating with development teams to resolve issues as early as possible.
Skills & Experience:
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related Technology field.
Experience:
* 5+ years of hands-on experience in quality engineering, with a strong focus on API and integration testing.
* Strong experience testing with Salesforce CRM or Marketing Cloud, integration workflows, case management workflows & dashboarding
* Exposure to Salesforce Lightening Web components.
* Expertise in using API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, ReadyAPI).
* Hands-on experience in functional, regression, performance, and security testing for APIs and integrated systems.
* Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe).
* Experience applying different test methodologies / frameworks such as TDD
Technical Skills:
* Strong understanding of test frameworks, test-driven development (TDD), behavior-driven development (BDD) and defect tracking tools (JIRA).
* Experience conducting testing against digital platforms across web, desktop client, mobile – iOS, android and tablet devices)
* Strong testing experience with end-to-end Salesforce workflows and integration scenarios
* Experience with JIRA & Confluence
* Experience with integration/API testing best practices and methodologies.
* Knowledge / experience with automation testing frameworks/scripting (i.e., Selenium or similar) (
