Venue Supervisor – Miss Pearl at Melbourne Theatre Company Southbank
Miss Pearl Bar & Dining at the Melbourne Theatre Company Southbank is recruiting for an experienced full time Venue Supervisor to join our team.

About the Role
* Reports directly to the Venue Manager
* Supervision and hands‐on leadership within a premium A la carte restaurant, Theatre bars and events environment
* Supervision of bar, floor and function staff
* Ensure operational efficiency across all assigned area
* Ensure standards of excellence are achieved regarding customer service, staff presentation and grooming
* Lead by example and mentor/guide new colleagues
* Help and support the team on the floor and in the bar when required
* From time to time assist at our other venues including the ACMI
About You
* Strong understanding of operational efficiency, service flow, labour productivity, and technical venue operations in a high‐volume hospitality environment
* Valid RSA and full working rights in Australia
* Competence in Square POS and Open Table software
* Ability to train and mentor other staff
* Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
* Experienced and motivated about working in a fast‐paced hospitality environment
* Passion for the hospitality industry and career progression
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a management or supervisory position within a premium venue
Strong understanding of A la carte restaurant operation
Knowledge of Wines, Spirits and Cocktail creation and making is a bonus
* A love of the theatre and the arts would be ideal
