As a geospatial data scientist, you will lead the development and customization of physical network inventory (PNI) tools within an agile framework.
About the Role
You will collaborate closely with solution architects and technical leads to design and implement PNI solutions that meet customer needs.
* Develop and maintain complex software systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
* Design and implement innovative solutions using advanced GIS technologies.
* Collaborate with vendors to ensure high-quality deliverables.
* Provide expert-level guidance on technical matters.
* Work in client-facing roles to contribute towards end-to-end delivery lifecycle of large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Expertise in Python programming, including Pandas and Numpy libraries.
* Experience with GIS software and spatial databases.
* Familiarity with ArcGIS and proficiency in other GIS technologies.
* 5+ years of experience in software development, preferably in GIS or related field.
* Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Proficiency in AWS services, such as Lambda, S3, and CloudFormation.
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and Docker.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* SAFe certified.
