We are seeking an experienced, motivated and customer-focused Service Manager to drive service excellence, team performance and departmental growth across multiple leading automotive franchises.

The Role
As our Service Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the Service Department across multiple franchises, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations, outstanding customer satisfaction and strong financial performance. You will lead and mentor a team of Service Advisors, Technicians and workshop support staff while upholding manufacturer standards, safety requirements and dealership professionalism across each brand.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, motivate and develop the service team to achieve performance targets
• Ensure every customer receives prompt, professional and friendly service
• Oversee daily department operations including scheduling, workflow, productivity and quality assurance
• Maintain service department financials including budgets, KPI performance and profitability
• Promote a positive team culture, continuous improvement and high-quality workmanship
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer service standards, warranty requirements and dealership policies across all represented brands
• Drive customer retention and develop initiatives to enhance the service experience
• Facilitate ongoing staff training, manufacturer learning pathways and technical development
About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and results-oriented leader who is passionate about customer service and team performance. You will ideally possess:
• Previous Service Manager experience (or Assistant Manager ready for the next step) within a multi-franchise automotive dealership
• Strong understanding of modern automotive systems, diagnostics and service operations
• Proven track record managing workshop productivity, customer satisfaction and KPI achievement
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build strong customer relationships and foster staff engagement
• Sound computer literacy (DMS experience such as Pentana, Titan or Auto-IT is an advantage)
• A proactive, hands-on leadership style with high personal standards
