Australia's leading stockbroker provides a full brokerage service to individual clients investing in domestic and international equities, wealth management services including financial planning, margin lending and managed funds investments.
The Team Assistants role deals confidently with Private Client Advisors and their clients in a high volume, time critical environment.
Desirable experience in stockbroking assistant roles.
Responsibilities:
* Assist advisors in developing, preparing and implementing financial advice and investment proposals efficiently and accurately;
* Assist advisors with servicing and maintaining existing client relationships;
* Provide superior client service by responding quickly and appropriately to client requests;
* Maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of current relevant legislation and industry standards;
* Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement within the business;
* Ensure efficient stock settlements and transfer of funds, providing clients with relevant information;
* Manage overall client relationship and communication process, ensuring regular contact and a professional personalised service;
* Provide administration support to the Investment/Financial Advisory team;
* Initiate new client process by arranging paperwork and gathering identification documents;
* Undertake general mailing duties, including opening and distributing incoming mail;
* Maintain filing system in accordance with compliance criteria;
* Reconcile expense statements and receipts;
* Assist with documentation process as required;
* Draft correspondence for routine matters;
* Provide reports for investments to clients and third parties;
* Covering duties for other Team Assistants when they are on leave;
Experience:
* 2+ years relevant experience in equity markets from operations, Client Services or similar Assistant / Adviser Assistant / Dealer assistant / Team assistant experience;
Qualifications:
* Degree Qualified within a banking related discipline;
* RG 146 qualification (ideal); if not, willingness to study and gain certification.
