Family Safety Advocate Position
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Family Safety Advocate. This role will involve working collaboratively with the Family & Domestic Violence Response Team to provide support and assistance to victim survivors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Providing person-centered support to clients
* Assessing risk and developing strategies to improve safety
* Effective communication and documentation skills
* Working collaboratively across different areas of the organization
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A Certificate III in community services or relevant experience
* Knowledge of Family & Domestic Violence and its impacts on victim survivors
* Strong computer literacy skills
* Knowledge of local communities and ability to work independently
* A valid driver's license and Working with Children check
