Chief Operations Officer – Aged Care
My client is seeking an experienced and driven Chief Operations Officer to lead and oversee the delivery of high-quality services across all aspects of Residential Aged Care. This full-time role is ideal for a dynamic leader who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional outcomes.
About the Role:
As a Chief Operations Officer, you will be responsible for managing multiple service leaders and their teams, ensuring excellence in care, compliance, staff engagement, and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day service delivery
* Mentor and support Service Leaders to ensure consistent, high-quality support services
* Drive compliance within Residential Aged Care and internal quality standards
* Act as a senior escalation point for incident management, WHS compliance, and property matters
* Build and nurture key external relationships with referral sources and support providers
* Champion a values-based culture, aligned with participant-centred care principles
What We're Looking For:
* Minimum 3 years' experience managing service delivery teams
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in leadership within health or related field
* Strong understanding of residential Aged Care practice standards and regulatory requirements
* Proven ability to lead high-performing teams
* Excellent stakeholder engagement, conflict resolution, and change management skills
* Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
