Senior Mechanical Design Specialist
We are seeking a highly experienced mechanical design professional to lead our engineering team in Melbourne's West.
This role involves designing and delivering safe, efficient, and reliable automation and robotic handling systems. Key responsibilities include:
* Designing complex mechanical product elements, including machined and fabricated components.
* Conducting detailed engineering calculations to support product designs.
* Utilizing advanced 3D modelling, simulation, and 2D drafting tools.
* Leading and managing New Product Development (NPD) projects from concept to launch.
The ideal candidate will possess:
* A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering with a proven track record of success.
* Demonstrated expertise in designing plant equipment & machinery is essential for this role.
