About the Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced aviation professional to step into a senior, highly dynamic Charter Manager role within an always growing, premium aviation business.
The Charter Manager is responsible for end‐to‐end management of complex charter operations, client relationships, and flight execution.
This role requires someone who is commercially astute, operationally strong, highly trusted, and comfortable operating in high‐pressure, high‐profile environments.
You will deal with a diverse and exciting portfolio of clients, including:
* Global touring bands and music productions
* Film and television productions
* Mining, resources, and energy companies
* State and Federal Government departments
* Corporate and ultra‐high‐net‐worth private clients
No two days are the same as this role blends aviation operations, client management, logistics, problem‐solving and premium service delivery at the highest level.
Location: Australia‐wide (flexible for the right candidate)
Key Responsibilities
* Manageend-to-end charter operations, from initial client enquiry through to successful flight completion
* Design and delivercomplex charter solutionsacross turboprop, jet, rotary, and widebody aircraft platforms
* Prepare and presenttailored charter quotationsaligned with each client's specific travel requirements, operational constraints, and budget considerations
* Liaise directly withaircraft operators, flight crews, airports, ground handlers, and service providersto ensure seamless operations
* Managehigh-value client relationshipswith discretion, professionalism, and confidence
* Coordinate all logistics includingflight planning, permits, slot coordination, fuel arrangements, catering, ground transport, and accommodation
* Ensure operations comply withCASA regulations, AOC requirements, insurance standards, and aviation safety protocols
* Managetime‐critical and high‐pressure operational situationswith calm decision‐making and precision
* Deliverpremium, concierge‐level serviceto VIP and corporate clients
* Identifycommercial opportunitiesand support business growth through proactive client engagement
* Maintain accurateoperational records, costings, and documentationto support compliance and financial tracking
About You
This role is suited to a highly capable aviation professional who thrives in responsibility, autonomy and high‐performance environments.
* Strong aviation industry experience (charter, airline, operations, or brokerage)
* Pilot qualification and/or operational aviation background highly regarded
* Proven experience managing complex flight operations
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
* High emotional intelligence and strong communication skills
* The ability to build trust quickly with senior executives, artists, agents, and government stakeholders
* A calm, solutions focused mindset under pressure
* Absolute discretion and integrity
* Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
* A genuine passion for aviation and premium service delivery
