Role Details:
Join the Department for Child Protection (DCP) in Whyalla as an Access Worker and Support Worker. In these meaningful roles, you'll provide practical support that helps children and young people maintain safe, positive connections with their families and communities. You'll assist with supervised access visits, transport, and day-to-day activities, while working alongside social workers to ensure every child's wellbeing is at the centre of our work. In this role, you will
* Arrange and supervise family access visits to ensure safe and positive interactions.
* Transport children and young people safely to and from family visits and activities.
* Support social workers in delivering quality care and assistance to families.
* Maintain accurate records and provide reports to assist in case planning.
