Your part in our Buderim Hospital team
As a Central Sterilisation Technician, you will be responsible for the reprocessing and sterilisation of surgical instruments and equipment to the Operating Theatres and clinical areas within the Hospital.

* Current clinical experience in sterilisation techniques.
* Australian Standard 4187 – 2014.
* ACHS Standards.
* NHMRC - Guidelines for the prevention of transmission of infectious diseases.
* Handling of used items for sterilisation process, including collection procedures and precautions.
* Decontamination and disinfection processes.
* Demonstrated instrumentation knowledge & able to assemble instrument trays correctly.
* SRACA Membership 'Sterilising Research & Advisory Council of Australia (QLD) INC (Desirable)
* Loan Kit experience (Desirable)
* Available to work across all shifts, AM/PM/Nights plus 24/7 on call roster
* Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements, as well as undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment
