As a dedicated Personal Care Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. We are seeking dependable and caring individuals who can work flexible hours, including weekdays and weekends, for morning, afternoon, and night shifts.
You will be responsible for providing exceptional support and care to our residents, working closely with a registered nurse to achieve their goals. Your duties will include listening to consumers and understanding what is important to them, supporting them to achieve their goals, following the care plan, recording consumer outcomes into Baptcare records, participating in continuous improvement cycles, building relationships with families and other agencies/stakeholders, and reporting workplace risks and consumer risks to management.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working in aged care. You will also require a minimum Certificate III in Aged Care and at least 12 months of experience working in an aged care facility.
